Varieties description

Baldo is an Italian rice variety introduced in 1977. It is indicated in the preparation of traditional risotto but also for rice salads and dishes that require well separated and consistent grains. Its grain is crystalline, similar to Roma rice for the same characteristics of consistency, flavor and excellent ability to hold the cooking.

Tips

Baldo rice cooks in 15/17 minutes and it can be used as an alternative to the great traditional rice for risotto and for excellent first dishes.
