Varieties description

Parboiled rice is the result of a special and ancient process: paddy undergoes a hydrothermal treatment, the result of which is the precooking of the rice within the husk. Parboiling makes rice easier to cook and gives to the grain a characteristic amber colour. Moreover, it maintains intact the nutritional values of the rice.
